The sound recorder saves recordings automatically in a directory that has been selected for this congregation, in the Silver Trumpets settings. The name of the file consists of the date and time of the moment that the recording started.
When you push on the button 'Start recording' (1), the recording of the meeting starts.
When you push on the button 'Stop recording' (2), the recording stops. If in the settings it is set that recordings are automatically saved to a network directory, the copy will start immediately after the button 'Stop recordings' has been pushed.
When you want to start a new file during a recording (for example if you want that the public talk and the Watchtower study are saved in different files), you can then click on the button 'Split recording: start recording: start a new file from now' (3) when you want the recording to be saved in a new file.
